I want to give a shout out to my friend Cyndi, who has a wonderful blog about Living Simply. In it she tells her own story as well as gives some great anecdotes about her parents and the life they have lived.
My story is a similar one. My parents worked hard for most of their lives. They were products of the Great Depression and they never forgot the lessons learned during that time. They had no faith in the financial institutions and believed that a community takes care of themselves.
The lessons from the Great Depression were, unfortunately, forgotten by today’s generation, if in fact they were ever learned. Today we find ourselves, as a community, suffering because of that lapse in memory.
Living Simple is the only logical and responsible way to end this cycle of spending and debt. It is working for millions of Americans and it will work for you!
